cocktail drink recipes Drinks Made Easy Present: Christmas Cocktail-The Candy Cane Mountain This is one of two original Christmas Cocktail Drinks we made for this Holiday Season. To make this Cocktail/drink you will need the following: Crush Ice (for more than 2 drinks, go ahead and blend it) Amaretto Liqueur (we used Disaronno) 2 OZ. Peppermint Schnapps 1 OZ. Egg Nog-Fill almost to the top Strawberry Liqueur (we used Bols, and you can use any other red colored liqueur of your choosing)-Float approx. 1/4 to 1/2 OZ. Whipped Cream Cherry Garnish Fist, pour your 1 and 1/12 OZ. of Disaronno followed by the 1 OZ. of Peppermint Shcnapps. Add your Egg Nog almost to the top. Take your Whipped Cream and make a "Mountain Peak" with it. Add your Cherry and float you 1/4 to 1/2 OZ of Strawberry Liqueur (Bols). Pour the Liqueur slowly over the cherry so that it drizzles down the whipped cream. The idea is to have the drink look like a mountain, albeit red in color, and the float helps achieve that, along with the layers of the liqueurs with the egg nog.
